Early in her career, she graduated from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA, with a MA in Expressive (Arts) Therapies, and later, from William James College, Newton, MA, with a PsyD in Clinical Psychology.

Maggee is flexible and responsive to an individual’s needs in treatment; sessions may or may not include structured interventions and/or creative activities, dependent on the person’s interest, needs, and comfort level. She engages in an eclectic approach to treatment that integrates Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy / Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Values work with a healthy dose of Self-Compassion and Insight-Based treatment. She often includes LifeStyle Medicine (Healthy Nutrition, Physical Activity, Stress Management, Avoidance of Risky Substances, Restorative Sleep, and Social Connection) in this mix. Her current interests include working with individuals who are living with (often chronic) medical illness, mood disorders, and various brain differences (ADHD, cognitive Impairments, early dementia, etc.).

In her personal time, Maggee enjoys several creative pursuits including photography, jewelry-making, mixed media, and digital artwork. She is also passionate about increasing her knowledge of functional “root cause” medicine, especially regarding its intersection with one’s mental health.
